Caddie

The ATB Classic is required to recruit caddies for the participants of the tournament. Typically, the tournament requires approximately 80 caddies. Below you will find some information on the ATB volunteer program.

Do all players require caddies?
For Thursday and Friday, No.   For Saturday and Sunday Yes.

How many caddies are required?
The tournament typically recruits about 80 caddies

When does registration begin?
March 1, 2026

Is there a caddie orientation?
Yes, usually about a week prior to the tournament

Do I get paid?
Yes, a caddie gets paid by the player at the end of the round – $50 USD

What experience to I need?
At a minimum, a caddie needs to be able to walk eighteen holes while carrying a golf bag.   However, golf experience, or upstanding the etiquette of golf is desired.   Previous caddie experience is very helpful.

If I register, am I guaranteed a bag?
No, we may not be able to match you up with the right player.

What happens if my player misses the cut?
The Caddie Master will try to get you another bag for the weekend, but it is not guaranteed

Do I have to commit to caddie for 4 days?
No, but it helps you secure a bag if you do.   Caddies that only commit for the weekend are less desirable for a scheduling point of view
